Statues are amazing piece of art that simply defines the intelect, age, time knowledge and experience the human race has acquired over time. They are simply amazing and mere looking at them is amazing.
But even more amazing are the stories, reason and inspiration behind these wonderful works of men. Unknown to many some of these statues possess deep massages and some posses dreaded warnings.
Knowing your these massages or warnings would help one understand better where they are coming from hence where they are heading to. Or at least where they should not head to.
So brace yourself I take you through a world of hidden stone truths.
5.THE LITTLE MERMAID: DENMARK
The bronze statue rests on a rock by the waterfront at Langelinie promenade in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The statue is a fine piece of art designed by Edvard Eriksen is yet another of the famous sculptures in the world that must be visited.
Most popular features of Little Mermaid :
The statue stands 1.25 m tall and measures 175 kg in weight.
Many speculation points to the fact the the
rumours of the existence of mermaids triggered by novels, movies and strange claims of sighting one by locals had triggered the creation of the piece.
It has been damage, blown apart and even stolen. But each time the parts especially the mermaids head was rediscovered and the culprits were apprehended.

Carved from the bedrock of the Giza plateau, Sphinx is a 73 m X 20 m single ridge of limestone, one of the largest single-stone statues in the world, since 1905 people got to see the complete body of the Sphinx, which was covered in sand before.
Yes the Pyramids were used in storing mummies I.e the preserved bodies of the Egyptian Pharoes kings and rollers. Using hot balms and Acient technology these bodies where kept fresh in the tombs.
Record has it that the Egyptians believed that to protect a true king they needed a king to be the supreme protector so? , it was wise for king to guide a king. So they built a king in the cloak of a lion and placed it right in front of the dreaded kings.

On completion President Wade said,
"It brings to life our common destiny. Africa has arrived in the 21st century standing tall and more ready than ever to take its destiny into its hands."

It was believed that the statue was show of the authoritative and power enthusicating trick of the president to get all under mind control as they look upon the statue.
Some locals and tourist once reported in explained love for the president when ever they looked at the statue.
The question begs was the statue Medusa? Hmmmm maybe when next you see a statue you might as well not look if you you are not sure what it really is.
